Brussels Vertical Art City
The Vertical Art City project won the 1st René Serrure Prize in Brussels in 2004. The concept aims to build a vertical urban block for the city in order to propose innovative ways of densification for Brussels. Located beside the South Railway Station, the Art City is an urban complex divided in several separated boxes connected by sky streets and vertical public spaces. The underground volumes are dedicated to a public transport hub and cinemas, and the vertical block combines cultural and business activities.
